Running the food trailer was more physically demanding than anything else I have done and I found myself with sore muscles on a daily basis. One day a friend asked if I had tried CBD. My first thought was "uh no, isn't that weed?" Turns out it is not.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of over 140 different cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. Cannabinoids are the naturally occurring, biologically active components specific to the cannabis plant. The U.S. Farm Bill of December 20, 2018 made CBD, derived from Hemp, legal in all 50 states.
Research has shown CBD to have some pretty amazing health and wellness benefits. CBD has been shown to support recovery from pain and inflammation; maintain a sense of calm and focus; aid in the sleep cycle; and assist in the body achieving overall homeostasis. I decided to give it a try.
And I am very happy to say that it works great!
As with many things, the quality and purity of CBD products vary greatly. I tried tinctures that worked great but tasted so bad I could hardly choke them down. I tried capsules but they weren't as effective. Then my daughter told me about a new company, Green Compass, and I am so glad she did.
The products are amazing! Certified organic, grown and produced in the USA, and they taste great too!
